About Indigenous Jobs Australia
Indigenous Jobs Australia was developed by the Australian Indigenous Chamber of Commerce (Indigenous Chamber) and Fairfax Media and is powered by MyCareer. The site is dedicated to advertising job vacancies and opportunities which might be suitable for Indigenous Australians.
We provide a purpose built employment website for the many businesses, organisations and government agencies who actively seek to employ Indigenous Australians. Indigenous candidates have access to employers who are committed to Indigenous employment thereby improving employment outcomes.
By joining with key Indigenous and employment organizations, such as the Aboriginal Employment Strategy (AES) and the Australian Employment Covenant (AEC), the site provides Indigenous Australians with a platform to access information resources as well as optimising employment opportunities.
The site benefits employers and employees alike, as no other internet jobs board caters exclusively to Indigenous job seekers.
Our Partners
We have a number of Indigenous and employment organisations as partners who provide links to employment information and resources and are working together with the Indigenous Chamber on achieving economic independence and self reliance for Indigenous Australians. Supporting, encouraging and providing resources to achieving better employment outcomes with the resulting benefits positively impacting on not only the individual but the community as a whole.
